In today's world, we are talking much about processors, where we talk about their cores and how much speed they have. Now after reading this you will definitely change your thinking when it comes to comparing of processors. For comparing processors we need to look at 4 things i.e. Architecture, Technology, Number of cores and frequency or speed.
ARCHITECTURE
Every processor making company has got a basic legal architecture provided by a company ARM, whose name is cortex A2, A3, A4, A5, or till A59. The higher the number after A is better the architecture is.
TECHNOLOGY
In a processor there are a huge number transistors which are very small in size. The smaller the size of transistors the efficient your processor is. Likewise In Exynos developed by Samsung the size of transistor is 14nm(nano meter).
NUMBER OF CORES
Lets take an example i have two hands that means almost i can do only 2 work at a time. Lets take me as a processor and my hands as cores. This means if processor is octacore that means it has 8 cores from which it can do almost 8 processes. This makes processor more efficient and reduces heating effect.
SPEED OR FREQUENCY
Most of you have often compared processor on the basis of it's speed or frequency which is in GHz. This speed of processor is the number of cycles completed in a second.
So to compare processor you need to see this four things. You cannot judge it on the basis of one or two. You need to see all the things.
